Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small file placed by a website in your browser. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, browser databases — serve a comparable role.

Four categories are usually distinguished: strictly necessary (the service does not work without them), preference (remember your choices), analytics (count and analyze visits), advertising or social (track your browsing across sites).

We use no third-party analytics, advertising, or social media cookie, neither on the marketing website nor on the platform. No third-party tracker is placed.

This is why no consent banner is presented to you: the only items stored are strictly necessary or correspond to a preference you expressed yourself. Displaying a banner asking for an authorization we do not need to seek would be misleading.

Should we one day introduce a tracker falling into a consent-requiring category, we would put a prior consent mechanism in place before any placement, and this policy would be updated accordingly.

cho-site-theme — local storage — remembers your light or dark theme choice — kept until you delete it — strictly functional, no personal data.

cho-site-device-id — local storage — a random, non-nominative identifier used to avoid counting the same visit twice in our aggregated statistics — cannot identify you, is never cross-referenced with an account, and is transmitted to no third party.

Fonts — the brand fonts are loaded from a third-party service, which exposes your IP address to that service at load time. No cookie is placed by that request.

Session token — session storage — keeps you signed in — automatically cleared when the tab is closed, never persistently stored — strictly necessary.

Interface preferences — local storage — theme, language, display settings.

Trusted device token — local storage — when you choose “remember this device” after two-step verification, avoids asking again at each sign-in — deleted on sign-out or on expiry.

Avatar cache — local storage — avoids reloading your profile picture on every screen.

Team activity feed — session storage — recent changes on your campaigns, so that the notification bell remains useful from one page load to the next. This feed mentions candidate and colleague names already visible to you within the platform; it is therefore held in session storage and cleared when the tab is closed — never persistently.

Recruitment targets — local storage — the numerical targets your organization sets in reports — no personally identifying data.

Your organization’s templates — local storage — your email, campaign and scorecard templates, your interview question bank and your default settings, so they remain immediately available. These are contents created by your organization; they hold no information about an identified person.

Authentication provider database — used by the authentication service to maintain your session securely — strictly necessary.

Strictly necessary items are placed without separate consent, as they are indispensable to providing the service you requested. Preferences rely on the voluntary action you take in setting them.

None of these items constitutes an identification, location, or profiling technology within the meaning of section 8.1 of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data › Clear Data.

Safari — Settings › Safari › Clear History and Website Data. On macOS: Safari › Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data.

Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies.

Deleting the session token signs you out immediately; deleting preferences resets theme and language. No organization data and no application is affected: they are not stored in your browser.
